Kanichukulangara Devi temple fireworks on Shivratri night (23 Feb 09) attracts ten thousands of pilgrims. The temple is located 7 km from Cherthala in Alappuzha, Kerala state, India. The fireworks is a one hour programme with colorful display in the sky followed by the grand final - Kalashakettu (deafening sound, lot of smoke and heat.
